Day 38: What Is Passion? What Drives You?
The Core of Your Purpose
It’s vital that you find the core of this purpose, that you follow what makes life worthwhile for you. This core is in your heart and in your soul, it’s what you truly seek and desire in this world.
What does drive you in your life, what makes life worth living for you? If you have not examined this yet it is time you delved deeper into your life. You may or may not believe you are here for a purpose but you can still create one for yourself.
Without passion man is a mere latent force and possibility, like the flint which awaits the shock of the iron before it can give forth its spark. Henri Frederic Amiel
Creating Passion out of Anger
Passion is at the heart of everything I do.
From the professional theatre through lighting to writing I have always believed in the power of what I do. I have always seen the worth of my life in the power of what I helped to create for others. This creative drive has never left me.
I have also created passion out of the anger I used to feel. I converted the force of it from something negative to something positive. The passion I have created with this energy has been vital in renewing my life. I always remain grateful for it.
At the heart of all my passion, of all my creative force is the desire to help others through my own growth and development. The skills and talents i have have always been used to create a more interesting, more creative, more enjoyable, more passionate life for others. From improving their environment to inspiring their growth I believe that my life has always been an inspiration. That’s my passion.
